Welcome to the official site of the Cast and Blast hosted by Codell Community Church where you will find ALL of the information about this year's events!

Four years ago, we had the idea of hosting Christ-centered events for men centered around the outdoors. This vision included a great time of community, winning amazing prizes, and hearing how Jesus has impacted and changed lives through the outdoors. Thus spawned the "Cast & Blast." These events have provided men the opportunity to have fun, eat great food, compete against others, win prizes (like guns, kayaks, gun safes, grills/griddles, guided out-of-state fishing/hunting trips and so much more), and hear about the importance of having Jesus in their lives.

We are excited for the Cast this year and hope to see you there!

Here is all the information you need to know in order to be ready for the big day!

• Two Person Teams (Most inches) and Individual (Largest Fish) in the following categories:
• Black Bass (Largemouth, Spotted, Smallmouth)
• Crappie
• Walleye
• Catfish
• Wipers/White Bass
• Casting Competition (Individual)
• Distance
• Flipping
• Shootout

Registration Begins at 7:00 am at Coyote Trail Shelter. Tournament rules at 7:45 am.

Fishing Kicks off at 8:00 am with Fish Reporting due by 2:00 pm.

Casting Competitions Begin at 3:00 pm

This year we will be using the Fish Donkey app for the reporting of all catches. Further instruction on this app will be provided at the tournament rules at 7:45.

If possible, we encourage everyone who is using a boat to have them in the water prior to registration at 7:00 am.

Fish Fry begins at approximately 5:30 with speaker Andrew Norbye and prizes following! Andrew is a professional fisherman from Alabama. He is sponsored by some of the industry's leading companies, has a Youtube channel with over 53,000 subscribers and his videos have been watched over 8.8 million times. There is an insane lineup of prizes being given away this year. Obviously, winners of the divisions will win prizes but there will be HUGE prizes given away to lucky people's names that are drawn. So you don't even have to be a good fisherman to take home a Pitboss pellet grill for example!!!

We can't wait to see you at the lake on Saturday, June 3rd. It's going to be a great day!

Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket for the Buffalo Hunt Raffle. Congratulations to the winner, Tommy Tinsley, from Edwards, Mississippi!! Tommy and his daughter Kaylee were able to come up for the hunt that was on 2/17. Kaylee made an awesome 253 yard shot from a bluff up above and down went the buffalo! It was priceless to see her excitement and father/daughter have an experience of a lifetime together! And some info about the buffalo... It was HUGE! The picture doesn't do it justice... We will put the video of the hunt up on this website when it is available so keep checking in!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Wild Game Feed on January 14 & participated in the raffles that evening. Congratulations to the winners of the silent auction items, the firearms, and the kayak! Be on the lookout for another Wild Game Feed Night next year!
